Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the Parent settings?
Tap the Parent button in the app. You'll be asked to solve a quick math question — this is the parental gate that keeps kids out. Once you pass it, you'll have full access to configure your child's schedule, tasks, subjects, and rewards.
I forgot my Parent PIN. How do I reset it?
If you've set a custom Parent PIN and can't remember it, delete and reinstall the app. Your data can be restored from a backup file if you previously saved one via Parent → Settings → Data → Download Backup.
How do I restore my data after reinstalling or switching devices?
Before switching devices, go to Parent → Settings → Data → Download Backup and save the file. On your new device, open the app, go to Parent settings, and use Restore from Backup to upload that file.
My purchase isn't being recognized. What should I do?
First, make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the purchase. Then try closing and reopening the app. If the issue persists, use the Restore Purchases option in the app's paywall screen, or contact us and we'll sort it out.
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
Yes. Your purchase (Stackd Day) or subscription (Stackd School) is tied to your App Store or Google Play account, so you can install it on any device using that account. App data is stored locally, so use the backup/restore feature to move your data between devices.
How do I cancel my Stackd School subscription?
On iPhone/iPad: go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, find Stackd School, and tap Cancel. On Android: open the Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, find Stackd School, and cancel there. You keep access until the end of the billing period.
The app is acting weird / something looks broken. What should I try?
Try closing the app fully and reopening it. If that doesn't help, check for an update in the App Store or Play Store. If the issue continues, email us — screenshots are always helpful.
